Octavian Lie, MD, PhD
Epilepsy Fellowship Program Director
Associate Professor/Clinical
Dr. Lie completed his residency training in neurology at Northwestern University in 2009, and epilepsy fellowship training at the University of Washington in 2011. He is currently Associate Professor of Neurology at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, Epilepsy Fellowship Program Director, and EEG-Epilepsy rotation coordinator. Dr. Lie’s clinical activity focuses on multimodal evaluation and management of medically intractable epilepsy. His research interests include the spatiotemporal characterization of epileptic networks by EEG source imaging, and connectivity methods, and postoperative estimation of the resection volume in patients undergoing epilepsy surgery.
