Dr. Nozrin Laskar earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Biology Biology from Rutgers University. She also holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Molecular Biology and Religious Studies from Montclair State University.
She completed a General Practice Residency at St. Joseph’s University Medical Center, in Paterson, New Jersey, where she received advanced training in oral surgery, trauma management, and hospital-based comprehensive care. During her tenure at New York University, Dr. Laskar was selected in the ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program, where she conducted educational research and served as a teaching assistant in the History of Medicine and Dentistry Course. Dr. Laskar has participated in global health initiatives, including dental outreach in Nepal, and is passionate about expanding access to oral healthcare for underserved communities.
Her research background spans oral microbiology and antimicrobial resistance. She remains committed to academic scholarship, mentorship, community engagement and the advancement of dental education.
Dr. Laskar is certified by the American Academy of Facial Esthetics in the cosmetic and therapeutic use of neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and PDO threads. She is licensed to practice dentistry in Texas, New York and New Jersey.
Her teaching philosophy emphasizes cultivating clinical excellence, critical thinking, and compassion in dental students while fostering and evidence-based approach to patient care and lifelong learning.
