Zoe LaPier, MD

Assistant Professor/Clinical

Dr. LaPier received her BA in Spanish Literature from Trinity University in 2011. She then earned her MD from the Joe R. & Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and a Master’s in Public Health from the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health, both in 2017. In 2021, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore, New York. Following her residency, she pursued a fellowship in urogynecology and pelvic reconstructive surgery with the Urology Department at New York University in New York City.

After fellowship, Dr. LaPier returned to San Antonio to join the OB/Gyn faculty at UT Health San Antonio, allowing her to be closer to family. She is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include caring for women with pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, urinary urgency, and voiding dysfunction.
