  Funding Agency NIH Title Integrating Patient Centered Electronic Health Records Usage into Medical Education from the NIH (National Institute of Health) Status Active Period 10/2012 - 7/2016 Role Co-Investigator Grant Detail This project is a collaboration between the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio and the Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) develop, implement, evaluate, and disseminate innovative behavioral and social science (BSS) methods related to Electronic Health Records and Health Information Technology (EHR/HIT). Specifically, we are developing, implementing, evaluating, and disseminating a curriculum to teach medical students to safely, effectively and professionally use electronic health records in a patient-centered and culturally sensitive way.
