Cheryl Kraemer, M.A., CCC-SLP, LSLS Cert. AVEd has over 30 years of experience as a speech-language pathologist serving children who are Deaf or hard of hearing. She specializes in developing listening and spoken language through the use of cochlear implants and hearing aids. Cheryl’s passion for this work began in graduate school, where she pursued a specialization in aural habilitation, and continued through her experience in public school regional day programs for the deaf and a state school for the Deaf. Since June 2019, she has worked at The Hearing Center, an outpatient pediatric clinic affiliated with a children’s hospital, supporting children with permanent hearing differences and their families. Cheryl holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA, is a Licensed Specialist in Listening and Spoken Language–Auditory Verbal Educator, and is certified as a Hanen It Takes Two to Talk trainer
