Natalie N. Kissoon, M.D.
Fellowship Program Director
Associate Professor of Pediatrics
Dr. Kissoon graduated from Emory University in 2003 and attended medical school at University of South Florida College of Medicine from 2004-2008. She completed her training in general pediatrics at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington DC in 2011 and in Child Abuse Pediatrics at The Lawrence A. Aubin Sr. Child Protection Center at Hasbro Children’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island in 2015. Dr. Kissoon is currently an associate professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UT Health San Antonio and the Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship Program Director. She worked as a pediatric emergency department physician in Washington, DC as well as a pediatric hospitalist in Corvallis, Oregon prior to fellowship training. Dr. Kissoon is a member of the Ray E. Helfer Society, the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Texas Pediatric Society. She co-chairs the Helfer Fellowship Program Directors Committee and the Texas Pediatric Society Committee on Child Abuse and Neglect. She has been elected to the Executive Committee of the AAP's Council on Child Abuse and Neglect and was selected to join the American Board of Pediatrics Child Abuse Pediatrics sub-board. Dr. Kissoon enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and cooking.
