Specialist
Mary Kim is a published, board-certified Physician Assistant who joined UT Health San Antonio in September 2007 at the Cancer Therapy and Research Center before transferring to Hospital Medicine in September 2012. After serving as a leader of Hospital Medicine's Advanced Practice Providers, Ms. Kim became the Director/Lead APP in September 2023. Ms. Kim earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of St. Francis in Albuquerque, NM in 2007 and is a member of several professional organizations to include the National Commission on Certification for Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Her previous experience includes working as a nutritionist and dietitian both in Texas and California. She has served the community by donating her time to numerous organizations such as Project Sunshine, the Little/Big Sibling Program, and the San Antonio Student-Run Free Clinic.
