Paul A Jerabek, Ph.D.
Associate Professor/Research
Research Imaging Institute
Dr. Paul Jerabek's research focuses on the synthesis and development of positron-emitting radio-pharmaceuticals for application to positron emission tomography (PET) studies.
PET has the unique ability to image biochemical and biological processes of the living human body that are fundamental to disease and understanding the normal function of various organ systems of the body. For example, PET has shown to be especially useful to image neurological and psychiatric disorders, heart disease, and cancer.
