Sheri D Huehn, PT, DPT, OCS, SMTC

Dr. Sheri Huehn, PT, DPT, OCS, SMTC received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Texas State University after receiving a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University.  After working as a clinician for several years, she went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UT Health Science Center here in San Antonio.  She holds board certification as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists and is Sports and Manual Therapy Certified through the Institute of Athlete Regeneration.

She has worked in a variety of settings including acute care, rehabilitation, outpatient orthopaedics and sports medicine, and critical care. With over 20 years of clinical practice, she brings an abundance of expertise and clinical application to her role as Director of Therapy Services for UT Health San Antonio. 

The division of physical and occupational therapy group has grown under her supervision to a multispecialty practice to service the entire UT Health Physicians group as well as the greater San Antonio metropolitan area.  Services offered include orthopaedics and sports medicine, athletic management and rehabilitation at UTSA, neurologic rehabilitation, pelvic health and pelvic floor rehabilitation, vestibular rehabilitation, pediatric orthopaedic and neurologic rehabilitation, and hand therapy / Occupational therapy.
