Associate Residency Program Director for Plastic Surgery

Dr. Hosein has a keen interest in treatment of traumatic injuries, cancer of the breast as well as cancer in various other locations in the body. Dr. Hosein did his General Surgery residency at the University of Texas HSC San Antonio and his Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Utah. In addition, he completed a Microsurgery fellowship at the University of Utah where he learned to perform reconstructive free flap surgery. Dr Hosein is an avid researcher in his field of Plastic Surgery with interests in microsurgical outcomes and surgery for cancer. He believes in individualizing the treatment plan to the goals of each patient to achieve a mutually acceptable and functional outcome.
