Specialist – Genetic Counselor

Ms. Horsting received her Bachelor of Science in Biology and History from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, VA in 2009. She went on to earn a Master of Genetics from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC in 2011, and a Master of Science in Medical Genetics and Genetic Counseling from Indiana University in Indianapolis, IN in 2013. A board-certified genetic counselor, Ms. Horsting has provided genetic counseling across many areas of medicine, but is particularly passionate about prenatal and preconception genetic counseling. Ms. Horsting is a member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors, the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics, and the Texas Network of Genetic Counselors. Ms. Horsting joined the faculty at UT Health San Antonio in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology as a Specialist.
