Peter Hornsby, Ph.D.

Professor

Cellular and Integrative Physiology

My research interests are in regenerative medicine, as described in the department website. I also serve as the Co-Director of the San Antonio Nathan Shock Center and as Co-Leader of the Research Career Development Core of the San Antonio Older Americans Independence Center (Pepper Center). I recently co-edited the 9th edition of the Handbook of the Biology of Aging together with Dr. Nicolas Musi, Director of the Barshop Institute.
