John J. Hartman, M.D. is a clinical professor of Anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesiology at UT Health San Antonio.
He received his medical doctorate from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He completed his internship and residency in Anesthesiology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Pain Management. at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Hartman is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Management by the American Board of Anesthesiology. He has two years of private practice experience in interventional pain management in San Antonio, Texas. He has co-authored several papers in the field of neuroscience and pain behavior. His interest includes clinical anesthesia, chronic pain, special interventions involving neuromodulation, and resident education.
