Pain mechanisms and development of novel analgesics

    Experimental and Developmental Therapeutics Program

Pain & Inflammation, Analgesics, Hyperalgesia, Clinical Therapeutics

Primary research interests are in the areas of pain and inflammation. Ken's ongoing basic research includes studies on mechanisms of inflammatory pain and pharmacological regulation of peripheral nociceptors, whilst current clinical trials are evaluating peripheral pain mechanisms in endodontic patients, as well as the clinical outcomes of non-surgical endodontic procedures.
