Oriana Haran, MD

Dr. Oriana Haran is a double fellowship trained Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at UT Health San Antonio. Dr. Haran completed her medical training at the Central University of Venezuela and her residency in Plastic Surgery in Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center (Ichilov Hospital) in Israel. There she served as staff member of the breast reconstruction unit. She completed her fellowship in Reconstructive Microsurgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and continued her training in Chicago by completing a fellowship in Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Her expertise lies both in reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, especially of the face and breast.

Along with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Haran leads the orthoplastic team with the goal of providing advanced care and reconstruction following lower extremity trauma. She also has a special interest and expertise in breast reconstruction with both implants and autologous tissue (patient’s own tissue).

Dr. Haran is fluent in English, Spanish and Hebrew. She enjoys playing tennis, traveling and quality time with her daughter.
