NP Gregory graduated with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing in 1988 and was a nurse in the Air Force as well as the private sector in the US and abroad caring for adult patients with a wide range of disease processes. Worked in areas including the Emergency Department, Cardiothoracic Surgical Intensive Care, medical, surgical and telemetry units. After working as an inpatient dialysis nurse was inspired to return for my Master's of Science in Nursing in 2010 and become a Nurse Practitioner with the goal of working with nephrology patients in an advanced practice role. Achieved my goal when I joined the Division of Nephrology at UT Health working with kidney disease patients in the inpatient and outpatient setting.

Works in inpatient setting consulting on and managing dialysis for End Stage Kidney Disease patients admitted for a wide variety of nephrology and nonnephrology issues
Covers outpatient hemodialysis patients in dialysis clinics along with collaborative physician
Conducts pre-ESRD appointments to educate patients about Chronic Kidney Disease, medications to treat CKD, and renal replacement therapy options including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, transplant and medical management
Assists the inpatient nephrology consult team with patients diagnosed with acute kidney injury with or without chronic kidney disease, hyponatremia, glomerulopathies
