Dr. Andrea Gilbert is Assistant Professor at UT Health San Antonio Department of Pathology, where she serves as principal neuropathologist and director of autopsy services for UTHSA and University Hospital. She joined UTHSA after completing a neuropathology fellowship at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, co-sponsored by M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Children’s Hospital, and also graduating from the Virginia Commonwealth University pathology residency program in anatomic and clinical pathology in Richmond, VA. Dr. Gilbert is a diplomat of the American Board of Pathology and is board certified in neuropathology, anatomic pathology, and clinical pathology.
