Brian T Gegel, DNAP, CRNA
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr Gegel is a military trained, veteran anesthesia provider and educator with greater than 20 years of anesthesia experience and subspecialty training in pain management. He completed his nursing education through the Illinois Wesleyan University (1994), anesthesia training in the military at the US Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing (1999), doctoral education at Texas Wesleyan University (2013), and advanced pain management at the University of South Florida. Dr Gegel has greater than twenty peer reviewed publications, participated in multiple physiologic research studies in battlefield nursing, advised and mentored quality improvement doctoral projects, and professionally presented at the local/state/national levels. He has served in diverse clinical, academic and leadership positions throughout his military and civilian career. I am motivated to continue serving the nurse anesthesiology community and the nursing profession as a provider, educator, and leader.
