Gretchel A. Gealogo Brown, PhD, RN, MHR, MSN, CMSRN
Assistant Professor/Clinical
I am a nurse clinician, educator and scientist with over a decade of combined experience collaborating with adult medical-surgical, telemetry and emergency room patients, community-dwelling people with dementia and their caregivers, patients with acute stroke and their care teams, research coordinators, novice nurses, direct care hospital staff, and undergraduate nursing students and faculty. My approach to inquiry is employing mixed methods analysis to maximize available qualitative and quantitative data for improving client-centered interventions. I am building a program of scholarship focused on developing and testing conceptual models for health services program assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation using a complex adaptive systems paradigm.
