Gretchel A. Gealogo Brown, PhD, RN, MHR, MSN
Assistant Professor
I am a nurse clinician, educator and scientist with expertise in adult medical-surgical nursing and organizational management. My interdisciplinary collaborations with health sciences professionals across the learning continuum are informed by my clinical, teaching and research experience in hospital inpatient, emergency room and community health settings. My approach to inquiry is employing mixed methods analysis to maximize available qualitative and quantitative data for improving client-centered interventions. I am building a program of science based on the integration of structured with unstructured data in electronic health records to contribute to development and refinement of decision-making algorithms for timely, patient-centered clinical diagnosis, treatment and outcomes.
