Nishan Gajjar, DO, MPH
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Nishan Gajjar is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in December 2024 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the Multispecialty and Research Hospital. He completed his pre-med program at the University of Texas at Austin in 2017 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology before going on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth, TX in 2021. Dr. Gajjar also earned his Master of Public Health from the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX in 2021. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX in 2024. Dr. Gajjar is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Gajjar has served his community through volunteer activities with several organizations including St. Vincent's Clinic, the Grace Clinic, Legal Aid of North Texas, the Texas Medical Association, and the House of Renewed Hope.
