Jenny Furbee holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Texas at San Antonio and a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Bryant University's Physician Assistant Program in Smithfield, RI. With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, she has a diverse background in both clinical and educational settings.
Jenny began her career as a Paramedic, working as a 911 responder in the greater San Antonio area and as an EMS Instructor at the San Antonio EMS Academy. She later spent over a decade at the Department of Combat Medic Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX, where she contributed as an instructor and curriculum developer for the 68W Combat Medic/Healthcare Specialist Program.
Since 2017, Jenny has practiced as a Physician Assistant in specialties including Cardiology, Women's Health, and Palliative Care. In addition to her clinical work, she has served as adjunct faculty at Bryant University, teaching in both the Physician Assistant Program and the Undergraduate Science and Technology Department. Jenny's extensive experience reflects her commitment to both patient care and medical education.
