Dr. Franco-Quintanilla is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in 2021. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the Escuela de Medicina Tecnologica de Monterrey (graduating Cum Laude) in Monterrey, Mexico in 2013 before going on to complete his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in 2021. Dr. Franco-Quintanilla has served the community by donating his time as a volunteer epidemiologist with Communitec in Monterrey, Mexico and received the "Performance Excellence Award" for the third Sanitary Jurisdiction of the city of Monterrey, awarded by the Health Ministry for his exemplary work during social service.
