Emily Fernandez, MSN, RN joined UT Health San Antonio School of Nursing as an Instructor/Clinical in 2026. She has a diverse clinical background in pediatric primary care, oncology, school nursing, and inpatient nursing. Emily earned her BSN from Texas A&M International University in 2021 and completed her Master of Science in Nursing Administration at Texas A&M International University in 2026. Prior to joining the School of Nursing, she served as a registered nurse at UT Health Wellness 360 Pediatrics, where she provided patient and family education and precepted undergraduate nursing students during their clinical experiences. Emily is passionate about preparing future nurses through clinical education that emphasizes critical thinking, compassionate patient centered care, collaboration, and evidence-based practice.
