Rebecca L Fenton, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN

Assistant Professor/Clinical

Registered Nurse for 29 years. Specialty is Pediatric Oncology, Bone Marrow Transplant, Radiation Therapy, and Pediatric Neurosurgical. Nursing Professor/Clinical since 2008. Clinical Coordinator for Pediatric Clinical and ABSN Health Assessment since 2014. UT liaison for Vision & Hearing Screening Services for the State of Texas in Austin, TX since 2010.

    Research Projects

    • 2017-Present,  Practice Project, Developing new practice in collaboration with military, children and families in military schools. Performing vision, hearing and scoliosis screenings to meet Texas State School requirements. I want to focus to be connecting UT Health with our Military Community in San Antonio (Families and Children). I think this would incorporate my specialty in Pediatrics and the fact that I am Liaison between Austin (Dept of V&H) and UT Health, School of Nursing. In addition, would provide professional community activities for our undergraduate students.
