Manuel Endo Carvajal, MD

Assistant Professor/Clinical

Dr. Manuel Endo was awarded his Doctorate in Medicine from Universidad Libre in Cali, Colombia. He did his social service training transferring critically ill patients from isolated communities in the Colombian pacific coast to high complexity medical centers located in some of the most prominent cities of Colombia. He completed Internal Medicine Residency and Infectious Diseases Fellowship at UT Health Science Center at San Antonio.

Dr. Endo has a special interest in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases of patients living with HIV, gender affirming therapy, and penicillin allergy. Dr. Endo is a very physically active physician; he enjoys playing competitive soccer and working out at the gym as he believes doctors should be a role model of cardiovascular fitness for patients.
