Belqis El Ferjani, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Belqis El Ferjani is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in December 2024 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical at the Multispecialty and Research Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the International Medical and Technology University College of Medicine in Tanzania in 2006 before going on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Southeast Health Medical Center in Dothan, AL in 2022. Dr. El Ferjani also earned her Master in Health Informatics from the University of Texas Houston School of Biomedical Health Informatics in 2018 and completed a postdoctoral Cardiology fellowship at the Methodist Hospital DeBakey Heart and Vascular Center in 2013.
