Dr. Dodd is a non-invasive cardiologist who specializes in Heart Failure as an advanced fellow in Heart Failure and transplantation at Northwestern Medical Center. She graduated from Creighton University in Omaha. Dr. Dodd obtained her Master’s in Public Health (MPH).
She went to medical school at The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME. Where she conducted independent research investigating the exclusion of older adults and women from clinical trials of acute coronary syndromes. Later, that research was presented at the American Geriatrics Society annual meeting in Orlando, FL and published in the Journal of the American Geriatric Society. She went to the University of Rochester Medical Center in Rochester, NY for her internal medicine residency, and also completed a year as a chief resident and hospitalist. She completed her general cardiology fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center where she had the unique opportunity to be mentored by Dr. Bill Abraham, who served as her clinic preceptor for 3 years. She attended the 2016 and 2018 Global Cardiovascular Clinical Trials Forum in Washington, D.C.
