Victoria Dittmar, MSN, RN
Assistant Professor/Clinical
I have over twenty-two years of clinical and classroom teaching in graduate and undergraduate nursing education. My area of expertise is in academic practice partnerships. Through my dual appointment with the Veterans Health Care System over the past ten years, I have been instrumental in the development and implementation of several clinical practice programs which are intentionally structured to support and guide student nurses to achieve the key competencies to graduate prepared for practice in complex and challenging health care environments. I believe that preparing student nurses to become veteran advocates and provide optimal care for veterans within the Veterans Healthcare Administration is a cornerstone of my contribution to the profession of nursing.
