Ashley Toups, AuD, CCC-A

Dr. Toups received her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2022. She completed her fourth-year clinical training at UT Health San Antonio prior to joining the team as an audiologist. She then obtained her Doctor of Audiology degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2026.

She currently practices as an audiologist at UT Health San Antonio, where she provides patient care and conducts comprehensive audiological assessments for adult and pediatric patients, as well as vestibular assessments. Her clinical responsibilities also include hearing aid consultations, fittings, and follow-up care. 

Her research investigating the effects of spectral and temporal cues and presentation mode on speaker identification was published in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America Express Letters in 2025. She is licensed in the state of Texas and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
