Andrea Darilek, MD, FHM

Dr. Andrea Darilek is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio in March 2026 as an Assistant Professor/Clinical providing services at University Hospital. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in 1997 before going on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in 2001 (serving as Chief Resident from 2000-2001). Dr. Darilek also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Smith College in Northampton, VA.
Dr. Darilek is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Physicians, the Society of Hospital Medicine, and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
