Jessica Danciu, MD

Jessica Danciu, M.D. is a clinical assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care in the Department of Anesthesiology at UT Health San Antonio.

She received her medical doctorate from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. She then completed her residency in Anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Danciu subsequently completed a fellowship in Critical Care at the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Danciu is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Her clinical focus and interest lie in surgical critical care. A large majority of her clinical time is spent in the Cardiothoracic and Transplant Intensive Care Unit at University Hospital where she is an intensivist and ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation) attending. Dr. Danciu also serves as an intensivist at the Veterans Administration Surgical Intensive Care Unit and an anesthesiologist in the operating rooms at University Hospital.
