Jonathan M Cullen, MD

Dr. Cullen completed his undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin. After graduating from medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine San Antonio, he completed his General Surgery training at the University of Virginia. During residency, Dr. Cullen completed a NIH-sponsored postdoctorate research fellowship in vascular biology under Dr. Gilbert Upchurch. He then went on to complete his Transplant Fellowship at the University of Colorado where he received advanced training in living donor liver transplantation under Drs. Elizabeth Pomfret, James Pomposelli, and Michael Wachs. Dr. Cullen is especially proud to be returning to his alma mater and excited for the opportunity to practice in his home of South Texas.
