Deborah L Conway, MD

Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology

Vice Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education

Dr. Conway received her B.S. in Biology, cum laude, from Texas A&M University, and her M.D. from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston in 1991. In 1995, she completed her residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and joined our department as an Assistant Instructor and Fellow in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She became an Assistant Professor following the completion of her fellowship in 1997 and was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure in September 2008. Dr. Conway was promoted to Professor with tenure in 2017. She has served as the Vice Dean for Undergraduate Medical Education in the Long School of Medicine since 2021. Dr. Conway is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Her interests include diabetes in pregnancy, and pre-pregnancy counseling.
