Michael Collings, PA-C

Michael Collings was born and raised in the San Antonio area. He graduated from Floresville High School in 2016 before earning a Bachelor of Science in Cellular Biology from Schreiner University and a Graduate Certificate in Public Health from UT Health Houston in 2020. He went on to obtain a Master of Physician Assistant Studies from UT Health San Antonio in 2024.

Before attending PA school, Michael worked as an Emergency Medical Technician at Community EMS, responding to 911 calls in Hondo, TX. He continues to serve as Community EMS’s education coordinator, teaching continuing education classes.

In 2025, PA Collings joined the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Gynecologic Oncology Division. His special interests include public health research, health disparities and their impact on healthcare access, and mentoring residents, medical students, and PA students
