Leslie Celia Cedillo Verlage, DDS

Dr. Leslie Celia Cedillo Verlage is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Developmental Dentistry at the UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry in Laredo. She is a pediatric dentist with extensive clinical, teaching, and leadership experience in pediatric oral health.

Dr. Cedillo earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, followed by specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Universidad AME. She completed her Pediatric Dentistry Residency at Boston University and is board eligible with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.

Prior to joining UT Health San Antonio, Dr. Cedillo practiced pediatric dentistry in Monterrey, Mexico, where she provided comprehensive preventive and operative dental care, dentofacial orthopedics, and treatment for infants, children, and adolescents. She also served as a professor and pediatric dentistry clinic supervisor at Universidad Interamericana del Norte, where she taught dental students and supervised their clinical care.

Dr. Cedillo is committed to advancing pediatric dental education and providing compassionate, comprehensive care to children, adolescents, and patients with special health care needs. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and has actively participated in community-based dental outreach and volunteer initiatives throughout her career.
