Meridyth Buschardt, MD
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Meridyth Buschardt is a published, board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in September 2020. Dr. Buschardt earned her Doctor of Medicine at St. George's University in Grenada in 2017 before going on to complete her Internal Medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in June 2020 (serving as Chief Resident from 2019 to 2020). She is the recipient of several honors including Texas Tech's "Award for Excellence in Clinical Science" for Research Day 2019 and the Covenant College Dean's List for 2019 and is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Buschardt has served the community by donating her time to multiple organizations including the Miami Children's Hospital "Bedside Buddy Program", the Bel Air Orphanage in Grenada, West Indies, as well as a medical trip to Karad, India.
