Sergio Burguete, MD

Dr. Sergio Burguete is an Associate Professor and Director of Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and specializes in Transplant and Interventional Pulmonology.  He completed his undergraduate studies at Boston University in 2000 in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. He received his Doctor of Medicine in 2005 at the University of Texas Medical School - Houston. In 2008, he completed his internship and residency  in internal medical followed by fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care then Transplant and Interventional Pulmonology.  He is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians.
