Department of Orthopaedics
Leah Brown, M.D., is a board-certified, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine and surgeries of the knee, shoulder and elbow. She is the head team orthopaedic surgeon for the NBA San Antonio Spurs and an associate professor at UT Health San Antonio. A decorated U.S. Navy veteran, she has served in Iraq and Afghanistan. A former NCAA champion gymnast, she is a dedicated mentor, researcher, and leader in sports medicine. She enjoys philanthropy and cheering for the Georgia Bulldogs with her family.
