Heather L Briggs, MD
Associate Professor / Clinical
Heather Briggs, MD, PhD, FACP, joined the Division of General and Hospital Medicine at UT Health San Antonio and University Hospital in 2014. In 2018, she joined South Texas Health Care System as a Hospitalist in the Medicine Service and as the CDI Physician Advisor. In 2020, Dr. Briggs became the Chief Quality Officer at STVHCS. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease. Dr. Briggs is currently an Associate Professor at UT Health with an interest in education and quality.
