Jessica Balstad, CNM
Specialist
Jessica Balstad is a Certified Nurse-Midwife dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care through every stage of life. Her practice includes well-woman care, contraception management, preconception counseling, low- and high-risk pregnancy care, substance use disorder management during pregnancy, and care through and after perimenopause. She is passionate about serving underserved communities and ensuring every woman feels welcomed and supported.
She believes every woman deserves to feel heard, respected, informed, and empowered in her healthcare decisions. After personally experiencing a high-risk pregnancy that ended in a cesarean birth followed by a multi-week NICU stay, as well as lower-risk pregnancies with successful VBACs, she understands that every woman and birth story is unique. These experiences have strengthened her commitment to meeting each patient where she is and supporting the choices that are right for her.
Her goal is to create a warm, judgment-free environment where patients feel comfortable sharing their hopes, concerns, and goals. She partners with each patient to provide evidence-based care and compassionate support throughout her journey.
