Trained as a General Pediatrician Dr. Arandes began her career by opening the first pediatric primary care clinic in Boerne, TX in 2001, remaining there through 2006. Having maintained clinical ties to the UT Health Science Center she returned to the faculty in Pediatrics full time in 2006 as a Pediatric Hospitalist. Her interest in higher acuity clinical care as well as a passion for education drove Dr. Arandes to seek opportunities to expand her skill and academic reach. Dr. Arandes is uniquely interested in Quality Improvement and clinical service excellence and the educational experience from medical school through specialty training.
