Sandra Andari, DDS, MS

Assistant Professor in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics

Dr. Sandra Andari is a dedicated and accomplished dental professional with a comprehensive academic and clinical background in dentistry, orthodontics, and public health.

She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from Universite Saint Joseph - School of Dentistry, Beirut and completed her Residency in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. Dr. Andari also holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Population Health from the American University of Beirut, where she was named to the Dean’s Honor List and inducted into the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health.

Dr. Andari brings extensive clinical experience from private practice, with a strong interest in complex orthodontic cases, surgical orthodontics, and interdisciplinary management. Her clinical focus also includes craniofacial anomalies and the treatment of infants with cleft conditions.

Her research interests encompass artificial intelligence in orthodontics, impacted canines, mouth breathing, and palatal rugae applications in both orthodontics and forensic dentistry. Dr Andari is currently an assistant professor-clinical in the orthodontic division of the developmental dentistry department where she oversees the residents' clinic and participates in predoctoral orthodontic education.
