Dr. Altshuler received his undergraduate and graduate education at the University of Michigan, after which he attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA where he received his Doctor of Medicine and completed General Surgery Residency. Following this he completed his Fellowship in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Altshuler’s clinical interests lie in adult and pediatric solid organ transplantation as well as hepatobiliary surgery, while his academic interests involve expanding organ donation, utilization, and access to transplant.
