Worked as a contractor for the VA Polytrauma in San Antonio in assisting with the development of the Assistive Technology Clinic for outpatients.
She is very interested in collaborating with other researchers in the field of rehabilitation and nursing, developing research projects in the assistive technology field and developing research projects in the area of pressure ulcer prevention.

Over a 5-year period, 32 MOT students were competitively selected as scholars and received additional instruction and professional development for working with children and their families from under-served areas. Additionally, 40 community OTs were provided with training in the supervision of MOT students as a means to increase the number of community OTs who are willing to supervise OT students on their required clinical rotations.Private
