Shuhaib Shair Ali, DO
Assistant Professor/Clinical
Dr. Shuhaib Shair Ali is a board-certified Hospitalist who joined UT Health San Antonio as an Assistant Professor/Clinical in August 2023. Dr. Ali earned his Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University School of Biomedical Sciences in Glendale, AZ in 2016 before going on to earn his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University School of Osteopathic Medicine in 2020. He then completed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio in July 2023. Dr. Ali is a member of several professional organizations including the American College of Physicians, American Osteopathic Association, and the Ismaili Health Professions Association and has served the population as a volunteer with the San Antonio Ismaili Center and the Ismaili Health Professions Association. He is also the recipient of the "Presidential Award".
