Dr. Venkatesh Kadaba is a multi-specialty diagnostic radiologist who is fellowship trained in Neuroradiology, Abdominal radiology and Breast Imaging and holds a certificate of added qualification (CAQ) in Neuroradiology. After completing a Diagnostic Radiology Residency in NYC and Neuroradiology fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, he moved to Dallas, TX in 2007 where he practiced for 9 years in a large private practice and also served as a medical director at a level 1 trauma center. There he was also voted as one of the best doctors on D magazine by his clinical peers for 5 years. He subsequently moved to UT Health San Antonio in 2016 and now practices both neuroradiology and abdominal imaging as a clinical faculty. His special interests are diagnostic spine imaging and all aspects of abdominal imaging. He serves as a radiology department representative for spine conferences and also University Hospital System pharmacy and therapeutics committee.
He loves teaching radiology trainees and medical students not only about radiology, but also about various financial matters and healthcare policy which are essential for any young physician embarking into real world after years of commitment and training.
In his free time, Dr. Kadaba enjoys walking, biking, watching various documentaries, cooking, gardening and travel.
