Kristina Cawthon, MS in Speech Language Pathology, CCC-SLP

Kristina Cawthon is a speech-language pathologist with the Department of Otolaryngology at UT Health San Antonio. She earned her Bachelor of Music from Stetson University and her Master of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida. She completed an additional post-baccalaureate program in Communication Sciences and Disorders through the University of Florida. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  Ms. Cawthon is a member of the interdisciplinary team at the UT Health San Antonio Voice Center, where she evaluates and treats patients with voice, swallowing, and upper airway disorders. She is committed to a patient-centered approach, developing individualized treatment plans designed to help each patient achieve their specific goals. With a background in musical theater and opera, Ms. Cawthon has a particular interest in the rehabilitation of professional voice users, supporting them in optimizing vocal health and performance. Outside of her clinical work, she enjoys reading, attending live music events, spending time with her family, and traveling.
