David E Deas, DMD, MS
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Deas, received his Doctor of Dental Medicine from Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, GA in 1982, he received his Masters in Periodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 1989. Dr. Deas served as the Director of Periodontal Research, USAF Periodontics Residency, Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas until June 1st, 2012. He has 33 years experience as a periodontist and has taught periodontics for 24 years – 17 of those at the graduate level. Dr. Deas has published 21 articles in the professional literature, and is currently a Director of the American Board of Periodontology.
Dr. Deas is board certified with the American Board of Peridontology since 1992. He is professionally affiliated with the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Board of Periodontology, the Southwest Society of Periodontists, and the Texas Society of Periodontists.
