Haley Daigle, MD, MPH
Dr Haley Daigle was born and raised one state over in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She attended Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Music. She attended medical school at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she concurrently obtained a Master of Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology. She assisted in creating a curriculum and teaching healthy cooking classes in the community for the Goldring Center for Culinary Medicine. She completed her residency in General Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in Advanced GI, Minimally Invasive, and Bariatric Surgery at University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. She stayed on faculty as a clinical instructor in Knoxville before joining the faculty at UT Health San Antonio January 2024. Her research interests include minimally invasive hernia surgery, abdominal wall reconstruction, and methods to reduce post-operative opioid use. She enjoys gardening, kayaking, and hiking in the Hill Country.
